To get started, you’ll need a Smart Meter and a new Smart Display installed in your home. To request a Smart Meter, simply fill out our Smart Meter request form. If you’ve already got everything you need, simply:

  • Make sure your Smart Display is connected to the internet via WiFi and have a connection to your smart meter.
  • You’ll then need to download the My Utilita app, register or sign in, and complete the ‘My Property’ form on the Usage page.
  • Once complete, you’ll then receive automatic updates via email every month on your energy usage Insights – helping you save money and energy.

To get your hands on one of our clever Smart Displays, use our Live Chat feature on the website. You can speak to an advisor in minutes who will help you get your home ready for smart energy.

An In-Home display is an older style unit that unfortunately won’t work with My Energy. My Energy requires a Smart Display connected to the internet to work correctly. If you’d like a Smart Display to start using My Energy, get in touch via our Live Chat. To check which one you have, click HERE.

You’ll need to connect your Smart Display to your Wi-Fi for My Energy to work properly. You’ll then need to download the My Utilita app, register or sign in, and complete the ‘My Property’ form on the Usage page. Once complete, you’ll then receive automatic updates via email every month on your energy usage Insights – helping you save money and energy.

You will need a Smart Meter to start using My Energy. If you’d like to request an engineer to install a Smart Meter, fill out our Smart Meter request form. The installation only takes a couple of hours – it’s totally free of charge, and we’ll work around your schedule – easy!
