FLEXIPAY

Are you an existing Pay As You Go customer? If you’d prefer to pay for your energy in a different way then FLEXIPAY is for you.

  • What is FLEXIPAY?

    If you’re an existing customer, FLEXIPAY gives you greater power over how you pay for your energy. Plus, you’ll still benefit from a tariff protected by the Competition & Markets Authority (CMA) price cap.

    This means you can now pay by any of the following methods - but still remain on Smart Energy/Smart E7.

    • Direct Debit
    • Pay on Receipt of Bill (quarterly)
    • Pay As You Go
  • What are the benefits of FLEXIPAY?

    You’ll have more choice than ever over how you pay for your energy, alongside all the benefits that come with our smart metering technology and competitive tariff!

    Choose your preferred payment method and with FLEXIPAY, change it later if you want to.

  • Can I switch between payment methods?

    YES! FLEXIPAY will allow you to change your payment method and how you pay for your energy. The criteria include*:

    • You must be an existing customer (all new customers have to sign up to Pay As You Go)
    • You must have a Smart Meter, or agree to have one installed
    • If you are a Pay As You Go customer, there must be no outstanding debt on your meter
    • If you are a Pay As You Go customer, your meter(s) must be in credit by at least £0.01
    • You must have wireless area signal in order for us to be able to carry out the switch remotely

    *Additional criteria may apply based on your property and circumstances

  • How do I change?
    1. You will need to get in touch with our Contact Centre on 0330 3337 442 and request a ‘change in payment method’.
    2. Our customer service advisor will then have a conversation with you about whether you meet the eligibility criteria, and help advise what payment method best suits your needs.
    3. If you qualify for the change, the advisor will update your payment method remotely - simple!
