Utilita announces new partnership with Bradford Bulls 2017
We have announced a major partnership with Bradford Bulls – a world renowned name in rugby league.
We're delighted to confirm we are now the main shirt sponsor for the Bulls.
The Utilita logo first appeared on the club’s iconic jersey for Sunday’s Kingstone Press Championship home game with Rochdale.
Utilita stepped into help the phoenix club – named Bradford Bulls 2017 - after the original club went into liquidation last month. The deal will run for at least the 2017 season.
Former New Zealand Rugby League chairman Andrew Chalmers and ex-Wigan coach Graham Lowe were confirmed as the new owners of the Bradford club last month.
Jem Maidment, our Head of Marketing & Communications, said:
“Utilita Energy is delighted to support the Bulls at the start of this new era.
“Make no mistake, the Bulls are a global brand and having heard the plans for the club, we believe they will soon be back where they belong in the Super League.
“This is Utilita Energy’s first partnership in Rugby League and we are honoured, excited and proud that it is with the new Bradford Bulls.”
Bulls Operations Manager, Russ Macfarlane, added:
“This is a great commitment for both companies to make, and to have a huge company like Utilita Energy strengthens the backing that not only the fans have in the club, but also in the corporate domain.
