We are cutting our gas prices AGAIN on 1 January 2016.

It means our average pre-pay customer will be paying 9.51% less than 12 months ago – an annual saving of £62.98.

In short, 254,000 households across the UK will be saving money at a time of year when most of us feel the pinch.

This is actually our THIRD price cut since 1 January 2015.

The latest 3.54% price reduction – equating to £21.82 a year – also strengthens our Price Commitment to be cheaper than the Big Six energy providers for pre-pay smart meter customers.

We’re delighted to do this because – as wholesale oil markets continue to fall – our view is if we pay less, we’ll always aim to ensure our customers pay less too.

“Britain’s families – and in particular the elderly - are hard-pressed as it is this time of year and so we will do everything we can to help them,” said Utilita Energy CEO, Bill Bullen.

“Heat and light are a necessity, not a luxury.”

And it is that belief that drives our business.

This month we reached 275,000 customers - TREBLE the number of 90,000 in April 2014. We thank you all for you.
