Energy Hub Manager, Isle of Wight
My name is Simon, the Manager of the Utilita Energy Hub located right in the heart of the
Beautiful Isle of Wight in Newport’s High Street. I have worked in Newport town centre as a manager since 2013
so know the local community very well and being born and raised in Yorkshire I have strong values when it
comes to people and customer service so you will always get a warm welcome in our Hub.
My team and I would love to invite you to drop in for a free hot or cold drink to see how we can save you
money on your energy, along with a whole host of products and services that we offer in the Hub including
PayPoint, Pay as You Go Sims and Smart Home Products. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Independent Arts were delighted when Utilita on the Isle of Wight decided to support us
through the Hub2Hub Challenge. As a small charity helping the most vulnerable and isolated on the Island
through arts-based activity, we entered Lockdown with some trepidation. We’d decided to move many of our
services online in March so it was tremendous to have lots of social media activity going on. The team
walked their socks off to raise over £2,700 for us at a time when all of our collection pots were empty.
Every penny was spent on providing relief to the lonely and most deprived island residents through art
boxes, pen pal schemes and music. Thank you Utilita! x “

regularly hosts meetings, health assessments, bake sales and much more.
