Utilita regards the management of health and safety as an integral part of its business and as a management priority. It is our policy that all activities and work will be carried out in a safe manner and we will ensure the health, safety and welfare of our employees and others who may be affected by our activities.
Our target is for zero accidents and zero work-related ill health to be achieved by applying current best practice in health and safety management.
Compliance with current health and safety legislation is therefore regarded as the absolute minimum standard acceptable. All employees, contractors and sub-contractors are required to cooperate with Utilita and their colleagues in implementing the policy and shall ensure that their own work is without risks to themselves and others as far as reasonably practicable.
Utilita procurement is recognised as a support function which is, primarily, provided at Group level during the onboarding and quote and tendering stages to ensure that risk management actions in the supply chain are maintained.
The level of operating risk is continually assessed to fulfil the commitment against the required need for Utilita. Against all purchases, the selection of all suppliers and required quotations, whether local or international should be channeled through the group supply chain processes or with the approval of group supply chain on completion of corporate risk assessment in line with the procedure.
All procurement should comply with applicable local and international law.

Utilita has zero-tolerance for bribery and corrupt activities. We are committed to acting professionally, fairly, and with integrity in all business dealings and relationships.
Utilita will constantly uphold all laws relating to anti-bribery and corruption. We are bound by the laws of the UK, including the Bribery Act 2010, in regards to our conduct.
Utilita recognises that bribery and corruption are punishable by up to ten years of imprisonment and a fine. If our company is discovered to have taken part in corrupt activities, we may be subjected to an unlimited fine, be excluded from business opportunities and face serious damage to our reputation.
