The Supply Chain Organisation for Utilita looks to the Business Values and Requirements that Utilita Energy have taken on at a Corporate level to provide a framework which is based on Key Values

It is reasonable that these values are promoted through the whole supply chain and Suppliers, Contractors and Third Parties of Utilita Energy and its Affiliates work to continual improve and develop a consistent approach to Products and Services provided.

Our Policies

Utilita regards the management of health and safety as an integral part of its business and as a management priority. It is our policy that all activities and work will be carried out in a safe manner and we will ensure the health, safety and welfare of our employees and others who may be affected by our activities.

Our target is for zero accidents and zero work-related ill health to be achieved by applying current best practice in health and safety management.

Compliance with current health and safety legislation is therefore regarded as the absolute minimum standard acceptable. All employees, contractors and sub-contractors are required to cooperate with Utilita and their colleagues in implementing the policy and shall ensure that their own work is without risks to themselves and others as far as reasonably practicable.

Utilita regards the management of the Environment as an integral part of its business and as a management priority. It is our policy that all activities and work will be carried out in a safe manner to protect the enivornment in which we work and for those who may be affected by our activities.

Our target is for zero environmental accidents.

Compliance with current Environmental legislation is therefore regarded as the absolute minimum standard acceptable. All employees, contractors and sub-contractors are required to cooperate with Utilita and their colleagues in implementing the policy and shall ensure that their own work is environmental safe and where any incident arises is reported immediately.

Utilita is committed to conducting business in an ethical and honest manner, and is committed to implementing and enforcing systems that ensure bribery is prevented. Utilita has zero-tolerance for bribery and corrupt activities. We are committed to acting professionally, fairly, and with integrity in all business dealings and relationships. 

Utilita will constantly uphold all laws relating to anti-bribery and corruption. We are bound by the laws of the UK, including the Bribery Act 2010, in regards to our conduct.

Utilita recognises that bribery and corruption are punishable by up to ten years of imprisonment and a fine. If our company is discovered to have taken part in corrupt activities, we may be subjected to an unlimited fine, be excluded from business opportunities and face serious damage to our reputation. It is with this in mind that we commit to preventing slavery, bribery and corruption in our business, and take our legal responsibilities seriously.

All Suppliers shall comply with Utilita Energy’s Standard Terms & Conditions which include payment terms of 50 days from date of invoice receipt.
