Celtic FC Foundation kids enjoy 'hooptastic' Q&A
We were delighted to host a press conference with a difference at Scottish Premier League champions Celtic FC’s training ground.
We asked Celtic stars Mikael Lustig and Kolo Toure to face some tough questions – from a group of children chosen by our friends at The Celtic Foundation.
Some of the questions unintentionally revealed some of the players’ guilty pleasures, especially in the case of Kolo. When asked what was his favourite Celtic chant is, he replied: “The best song… don’t laugh – okay I like Whitney Houston.” Mikael was faced with the difficult decision of choosing the best forward out of fellow countryman Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Celtic Legend Henrik Larsson. Mikael’s response proved controversial as he opted for Ibrahimovic as the better striker.
Utilita’s Head of Comms and Marketing, Jem Maidment, said: “It was a huge thrill for these children to meet their heroes. It was an even bigger thrill for them to spend some time grilling them – there was definitely some future journalistic talent in the room. A big thanks to Kolo and Mikael for making these kids’ dreams come true!”
Tony Hamilton, Celtic FC Foundation’s Chief Executive, commented: “This was a fantastic occasion for the guests and players alike. We would like to thank Utilita for their support at this event, and we look forward to working together on a number of future projects, including the fantastic Henrik’s Heroes v Lubo’s Legends match in May.”
The Celtic FC Foundation is an iconic charity that delivers community based projects that deal with Equality, Learning, Health and Poverty. The children involved in the Press Conference were all from the East End of Glasgow and receive fantastic support and assistance from the staff at the Foundation.
